To make information more accessible and stimulate the improvement of professional skills are CONFEA’s main goals for the end of this year. Through a program called “Canal Aberto via Internet” members of the System will have the chance to increase their knowledge on managing tasks by taking virtual classes. CONFEA hopes to make the Internet an instrument for creating professionals with competence and confidence. Parallel to the Internet courses, there is another program that travels around the country preparing CONFEA’s members to deal with Marketing issues. The two initiatives are part of a 18 steps plan seeking to improve the System’s administration. Two steps are related to communication and together they form the Continuing Education Program announced by CONFEA’s president, the engineer Wilson Lang, during the 5ª Reunion of CREA’s presidents, in Belém, Pará, in October 16th.

The project’s main points are based on previous experiences with methods of distant education, where the teacher interact with the student through mail, and now, the Internet. The program “Canal Aberto via Internet” includes two important actions that will assure better human resources. One action is the use of the Web to put the information available to as many people as possible and the other is to contribute to form members with technical background on managing.

Facilitar el acceso a la información e incentivar el perfeccionamiento profesional de sus asociados son los desafios del Confea para el fin de este año. A través del programa Canal Abierto vía Internet, que disponibiliza cursos de perfeccionamiento en el área de gerenciamiento de proyectos, el Consejo espera hacer con que la Internet sea un medio para incentivar a sus profesionales para que busquen más cualificación profesional. Además de los cursos vía Internet, profesionales del Sistema también cuentan con los cursos presenciales de Marketing ofrecidos en todo el país. La iniciativa hace parte de un plan estratégico de 18 acciones para mejorar el sistema logístico del Consejo. El proyecto Canal Abierto vía Internet, parte del Programa de Educación Continuada, fue lanzado el día 16 de octubre, por el presidente del Confea, el Ingº Wilson Lang, durante la 5ª reunión del colegio de presidentes de los Creas, en Belém, en Pará.

Los principios del proyecto se encuentran fundamentados en experiencias exitosas en el área de enseñanza a distancia. El programa Canal Abierto vía Internet incluye dos acciones importantes buscando mejorar el desempeño del profesional en el mercado. Una de ellas es disponibilizar el acceso para el mayor número de interesados. La otra es contribuir a la formación técnica de los miembros del Confea en el área de gerenciamiento.
