| Engineers, architects and agronomists commemorate their days of recognition, while expanding the focus of their activities and evaluating the market situation. Agronomists Day is commemorated October 12. There are more than 100,000 agronomists in Brazil and six thousand more graduate each year. Another profession positively affected by growth in agribusiness is that of the agricultural technicians, which has its day of honor November 5. The most recent data from the Ministry of Labor, from 2002, indicates that there are 2,965 safety engineers employed in Brazil and estimates that nearly 10,000 others are operating independently. They commemorate their day November 27. Another profession that commemorates its day at the end of the year is that of the Engineer of evaluation and engineering reports (December 13). The market has grown for this group to the point where most engineers who work in this field do so exclusively. Architects and urban planners commemorate their day December 11. It is estimated that there are 100,000 professionals in this category and nearly 160 professional schools in these fields throughout the country. The sustainability of cities depends on the work of these professionals who are responsible for planning and development of public and private space. The signing of the decree that regulates the engineering, architecture and surveying professions, on Dec. 11, 1933, gave origin to the Engineer and Architects Day. The date is dedicated to the entire category of engineers, although it is often understood as the day of the Architect and Civil Engineer. |

Profesionales de ingeniería, arquitectura y técnicos agrícolas conmemoran sus fechas expandiendo el foco de su actuación y evaluando la situación del mercado. El ingeniero agrónomo conmemora su día el 12 de octubre. Existen en Brasil más de cien mil profesionales del área, y a cada año se gradúan otros seis mil. Otro profesional positivamente afectado por el crecimiento del agronegocio es el técnico agrícola, que conmemora el día 5 de noviembre. Los datos más recientes del Ministerio del Trabajo, de 2002, traen 2.965 ingenieros de seguridad con vínculo laboral, pero se estima que alrededor de 10 mil actúen de forma autónoma. Ellos conmemoran su fecha el día 27 de noviembre. Otro profesional que conmemora su fecha durante el último trimestre del año es el ingeniero de evaluaciones y pericias de ingeniería (13 de diciembre). Hubo una abertura del mercado para este profesional a tal punto que actualmente, la mayoría de los ingenieros que trabajan en este segmento actúan de forma exclusiva. Los arquitectos y urbanistas conmemoran su día el 11 de diciembre. Se estima que haya en Brasil 100 mil profesionales habilitados, y cerca de 160 cursos diseminados por casi todo el territorio nacional. La sostenibilidad de las ciudades depende mucho del trabajo de este profesional, responsable por el planeamiento y desarrollo del espacio público y privado. La firma del Decreto que reglamentaba las profesiones de ingeniero, arquitecto y agrimensor, el 11 de diciembre de 1933, le dió origen al Día del Ingeniero y Arquitecto. La fecha es para toda la categoría de los ingenieros, a pesar de que muchas veces sea entendida como día del Arquitecto y del Ingeniero Civil. |
